Farmer of the Year

The Kiwanis Club of Tulare awards annually a Farmer of the Year and hosts a luncheon in their honor.  The Farmer of the Year is selected both on their success as a farmer and more importantly their contribution to their community.  The luncheon takes place every year in February and is held at the International Agri-Center.  The recipient of the 2024 Farmer of the Year is Faria Land and Cattle.  Steve Faria, Mike Faria, Rick Faria and Danny Faria Jr.
