Club History
Tulare Noon Kiwanis had its charter night on January 21, 1947. There were originally 36 charter members, today we have 50 members and growing.
Our projects included a Pancake breakfast on the Opening Day of the Tulare County Fair and now we serve Pancakes throughout our Community. We also hosted an Annual July 3rd Fireworks Show for the community of Tulare which has continued and this year will be our 57th Fireworks Show.

Ernie Korte, club president in 1964, went on to become the California/Nevada/Hawaii District Governor. Our club has also had two members serve as Lieutenant Governor, including Don Hillman and Ron Nogues.
We have come a long way from our humble beginnings and today, our club is comprised of over 50 members both men and women that are active members of the community. We have the current Police Chief, Fire Chief, and Mayor of Tulare in our club alongside bankers, accountants, retired educators, insurance providers, City Employees, County Employees, and Business owners.
Through our uniqueness, we all have one goal in common; we are dedicated to serving our community, one child at a time.
Our annual fundraiser which sustains our club is the High School Football Concessions booths each season starting in August and runs through November. We support our three High Schools: Tulare Union, Tulare Western, and Mission Oak High School. It enables us to award scholarships to all three high schools along with scholarships to the Alternative Education schools as well.
The club also hosts an annual Pork Boosters Feed to raise funds for Scholarships throughout Tulare County awarding several $1000 scholarships for Seniors who have raised Swine as their FFA Projects.
We also actively support division-wide projects, such as Special Olympics Bowl-a-thon, and Track events, as well as Miracle Mile of Quarters and Happy Trails Riding Academy.
